Floriane de Saint Pierre’s Speech at the Think & Do Tank Marie Claire - Acting for Equality

On March 25, Floriane de Saint Pierre, our president, spoke at the Think & Do Tank Marie Claire - Acting for Equality, organized by Marie Claire at MEDEF. The event focused on a critical theme: "More Women at the Head of Organizations."

During the roundtable discussion on the current momentum of gender diversity in leadership positions across the public and private sectors, Floriane de Saint Pierre highlighted a striking fact: 0 female founders who are also CEOs among companies in the SBF 120 or CAC All Tradable. This striking figure illustrates one of the last remaining glass ceilings: access to capital.

Floriane de Saint Pierre presented key figures from the latest Institut Français des Administrateurs (IFA) – Ethics & Boards barometer and contributed to discussions on the barriers to gender equality at the top levels of companies, as well as the levers needed to break these glass ceilings. Her intervention shed light on several major issues : 

- The progress made and the crucial role of legislative frameworks.

- The impact of CEO tenure (>6-7 years) on the feminization of executive leadership: the importance of long-term dynamics.

- How will AI affect women's representation in leadership positions—positively or negatively?
